The site is bisected into a northern and southern portion by the tarred road, Rose Bud street, which provides access to the cemetery. The erf is bound by developed residential erven of the C-Place suburb to the north and east. The land to the west of the site is occupied by a cemetery. while the land further west is currently vacant but has been earmarked for residential purposes as part of the Fountains estate Development.

The proposed Technical Comprehensive School will accommodate approximately 1,000 learners and a staff complement of >50 personnel. The hostel has been designed to accommodate 300 learners and 15 personnel. The school itself will be situated on the south of the site with the sports fields on the central portion.
